On the wedding day, Jackson and Brittany suggest the following plan to make parking and getting between the ceremony and reception as easy and accessible as possible for all of their guests. Both the ceremony and reception are located in downtown Lincoln, and fortunately, the two locations are only three blocks apart! Below are step-by-step instructions for parking and easily walking between both locations on the day of the wedding.

Step 1: The couple suggest that all guests park at the Scottish Rite Ballroom, which is the location of the reception. The ballroom has its own parking lot where guests are welcome to park upon arrival. However, the parking lot is fairly small and will likely fill up quickly. There is also a parking garage located directly next to the Scottish Rite Ballroom, with two entrances located near the corner of 16th & M St.

Step 2: After parking, guests can then walk three blocks west to the Cornhusker Hotel, where the ceremony will be beginning at 3:00. The hotel has very limited parking available for all of the guests, which is why the couple recommends parking at the Scottish Rite Ballroom and the nearby parking garage instead. Please consider parking time and walking time for your arrival to the ceremony, to ensure you arrive for the event no later than 3:00. We cannot guarantee your entry if you arrive later than 3:00 and the ceremony has already started.

Step 3: Once the ceremony is complete, guests are encouraged to walk back to the Scottish Rite Ballroom, located three blocks east of the hotel. An open bar and cocktail hour will begin at 3:45 PM. The wedding party will arrive at the reception at 5:30 PM, at which time the reception will officially begin. In the time between the ceremony and reception, feel free to explore the downtown area or relax and enjoy the reception hall!
